Responsibilities: I have partnered with my dad in our family’s 1500 acre row crop and hay operation. Listing the responsibilities is about as difficult as defining a “farmer”, but, in all, they add up to a great way of life.
Words for prospective students: The Department of Crop Sciences stands for so much more than just farming, but there are still a few of us graduates who are lucky enough to carry on the tradition of living directly off the land.
