Current position: Seed Increase and Distribution Manager
(Research Associate II)
Monsanto

Responsibilities: I manage the inbred corn seed stock for Monsanto Research. This entails increasing seed in pollinating nurseries in Illinois, Hawaii and Chile and the logistics of distributing the seed globally to Monsanto locations.

Words for prospective students: The Crop Science Dept. is full of distinguished professors who are always willing to help students learn.  I had a memorable 4 years here and earning my Crop Science degree provided me with a solid foundation before I moved on to graduate school and landed my first job.  Not only was the staff helpful while I was a student, but their support continued even after I graduated and came to them for help or advice.
